EXTERIOR SHELL Hand-Poured Wax The exterior shells of our candles are made through the traditional, hand-poured wax method of candle making. The technology inside of the candle brings the realistic effect of a moving flame.
MOVEMENT Magnetic Field When you turn on your Luminara candle, the batteries send power to a coil inside that generates a magnetic field. A second magnet interacts with the magnetic field to produce random movement for the flame piece.
COLOR Candlelight LED Our LED light shoots diagonally to the center of the flame piece creating an effect that convincingly reproduces the look of a traditional burning candle.

"The green candle is perfect. I got it for my St. Patrick's Day display. I have over 60 Luminara. I do not use the timer, but leave them all on all the time. Previously, the 3" candles had C batteries and 4" had D batteries. I was disappointed that this 3" base candle uses AA. I was reticent to buy because of the smaller batteries, but I needed the color. I've spent thousands of dollars on your candles, for myself and gifts. I wish they were more affordable."

"The candle itself has the same beautiful flicker that I love from Luminara but the color is disappointing. I think of vibrant t green as having a hint of lime in the color. The color isn't grass green, nor is it lime ( Grinch) green. It's an odd color green and difficult to match in decor."
