EXTERIOR SHELL Hand-Poured Wax The exterior shells of our candles are made through the traditional, hand-poured wax method of candle making. The technology inside of the candle brings the realistic effect of a moving flame.
MOVEMENT Magnetic Field When you turn on your Luminara candle, the batteries send power to a coil inside that generates a magnetic field. A second magnet interacts with the magnetic field to produce random movement for the flame piece.
COLOR Candlelight LED Our LED light shoots diagonally to the center of the flame piece creating an effect that convincingly reproduces the look of a traditional burning candle.

Q&A

What is your brightest candle? Will it show light if inside a metal lantern? Do you know the lumens of your 3.2 x 4.5 inch candle?
Our candles are placed 10cm in front of testing equipment and produce a measurement of 12 LUX in brightness.
My outdoor luminary candles have a sticky residue on them. They were purchased from qvc.com. They were in tall lanterns that have rusted. Stated for outdoor use. Please advise.

if the timer is used on a daily basis- about how long can you expect the batteries to last? I have a number of luminary candles that take C or D batteries and they last a very long time. I am a bit skeptical about AA batteries.
Our AA battery drivers have a 200 hour runtime. If timer is used daily, you can expect the batteries to last about 40 days. This timing can vary depending on the quality of batteries used.
