Magnetic Field
When you turn on your Luminara candle, the batteries send power to a coil inside that generates a magnetic field. A second magnet interacts with the magnetic field to produce random movement for the flame piece.

Our LED light shoots diagonally to the center of the flame piece creating an effect that convincingly reproduces the look of a traditional burning candle.

The6 are so realistic, I still think I'm going to burn myself if I reach over them! The timer feature allows me to sync them with other Luminara purchases and my remote from another Luminara purchase works as well - if I need to override the timer. Well-made and classic in every sense. An investment worth making!"
