EXTERIOR SHELL Hand-Poured Wax The exterior shells of our candles are made through the traditional, hand-poured wax method of candle making. The technology inside of the candle brings the realistic effect of a moving flame.
MOVEMENT Magnetic Field When you turn on your Luminara candle, the batteries send power to a coil inside that generates a magnetic field. A second magnet interacts with the magnetic field to produce random movement for the flame piece.
COLOR Candlelight LED Our LED light shoots diagonally to the center of the flame piece creating an effect that convincingly reproduces the look of a traditional burning candle.

"The candle is beautiful - Luminara “Customer Service” is horrible. Within 3 days of my order I received a promotional e-mail from Luminara offering 25% off all of the America-themed candles - a significant amount for a $72.00 candle. I contacted Luminara Customer service (by e-mail as they do not answer the phone) to ask if they could credit me for the difference - I hadn’t even received my order yet - and the answer was No - you didn’t place your order during the promotional period so there’s nothing we can do. I am well aware that I didn’t place my order during the promotional period which is why I contacted them, and they honestly could’ve cared less. I have ordered multiple times from Luminara but I will no longer give them my business."

"This is not only a beautiful Luminara candle, it is also a beautiful display piece. The eagle looks like a bronzed statue, with exquisite details. During the day, it displays well as a centerpiece and at night, you get the beauty of a Luminara candle. As you can see in the website pictures, the whole candle does not illuminate, just the top flame, but that is just fine. This eagle candle is great for showing patriotic pride or just as a great display piece. Glad I purchased one before they are gone."
