MOVEMENT Magnetic Field When you turn on your Luminara candle, the batteries send power to a coil inside that generates a magnetic field. A second magnet interacts with the magnetic field to produce random movement for the flame piece.
COLOR Candlelight LED Our LED light shoots diagonally to the center of the flame piece creating an effect that convincingly reproduces the look of a traditional burning candle.

"I am very disappointed in this set of candles. One of the candles only works on the timer. I cannot manually turn it off and on. Another one of the candles works only sometimes. It seems like the batteries do not make a connection. I have another set candles like this and they work very well except the battery life is so short. With this new set I order the longer battery life thinking it would make up for the shorter battery life. Please advise what I can do about this."

I hadn’t used them in awhile because of that. Then I saw the new extended life ones and had to give them a try! So happy I did! They have lasted three and a half weeks so far! Very happy!
