EXTERIOR SHELL Hand-Poured Wax The exterior shells of our candles are made through the traditional, hand-poured wax method of candle making. The technology inside of the candle brings the realistic effect of a moving flame.
MOVEMENT Magnetic Field When you turn on your Luminara candle, the batteries send power to a coil inside that generates a magnetic field. A second magnet interacts with the magnetic field to produce random movement for the flame piece.
COLOR Candlelight LED Our LED light shoots diagonally to the center of the flame piece creating an effect that convincingly reproduces the look of a traditional burning candle.

The perfect candle bulb.

"Though expensive, these are EXACTLY what I've been looking for! I don't like bright lights, and have over 50 Luminara devices of various style throughout my medieval longhouse style home. I bought 14 of these bulbs for my Great-Hall chandeliers, unfortunately I also had to find socket converters to make them compatible for an E26 medium light socket. Along with 25 standard Luminara candles, and the fireplace, I have finally achieved the perfect flame lit ambiance I've always wanted. At first I tried an alternative less expensive brand, but they projected a weird rainbow color on the ceiling and I had to send them back. These are perfection. I will probably buy a dozen more the next time they go on sale."
